The Atlantic Club of Bulgaria invites you to the first bilateral, public discussion between Bulgaria and the United States on the new dimensions of Euro-Atlantic solidarity in the context of Brexit and Europe’s response.

On Friday, July 7, 2017 at 9.30 a.m. in the Central Military Club (Grand Concert Ballroom) we will begin with the public discussion with H.E. Boyko Borissov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria on the topic of “The Transatlantic Partnership from the Perspective of Bulgaria's EU Presidency”.During the event, Mr. Borissov will discuss key steps regarding the strategic priorities of Bulgaria in the light of transatlantic relations and the upcoming Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

After a short coffee break, at 11:00 a.m. we will continue with the first high-profile public lecture by the US Ambassador to Bulgaria H.E. Eric Rubin since the parliamentary elections and the formation of the new government in Bulgaria. Ambassador Eric Rubin will discuss the partnership between the US and Bulgaria and how it could be strengthened.The discussion will be moderated by the President of the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, Dr. Solomon Passy.

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided for both discussions.
