First Call – A BBBA/COBCOE Initiative
COBCOE is engaging its member chambers of commerce across Europe, together with business members, to provide a new service that provides British businesses based in the UK with up to 1 hour free of charge advice about conditions in the local market, through which the company is better able to make an informed judgement and assessment of relevant trade and investment market opportunities.
Our members are ready to give you, free of charge, 1 hour professional advice on investing or doing business in Bulgaria subject (otherwise) to their normal terms of business and to the eligibility conditions.
What are the advantages of participating in the programme?
The service brings your business an additional marketing outlet via your membership of BBBA.
The service gives you direct access to incoming enquiries
The service may bring you follow on business under normal commercial terms
You will be directly helping BBBA and COBCOE to encourage bilateral trade and investment growth between Bulgaria and the UK
How does the programme work?
The facility operates online via the COBCOE website as well as via BBBA, with dedicated First Call pages on both, linking to each other.
The programme is marketed widely both by the chamber itself and COBCOE, via our wide network of chambers of commerce, partners across the UK and dynamic social media platforms.
General terms to note
The scheme in Bulgaria is open only to participant advisors that are members of BBBA.
The participant advisors should be willing to provide a personal contact email address and telephone number, but may change this from time to time
The participant advisors are expected to provide advice with all reasonable care and attention in accordance with local rules and regulations
The participant advisors should be willing to keep in touch with the chamber and report on enquiries received from time to time.
The participant advisors will be encouraged to promote membership of the chamber to incoming enquirers so that the chamber may benefit from potential new members
This programme is open to businesses based in the UK and members of a sister COBCOE chambers.
BBBA assumes no responsibility for advice given under this programme and no responsibility can be accepted for the consequences of any action taken or refrained from as a result of any advice given.
In addition, the Department for International Trade helps British-based companies succeed in Bulgaria by highlighting business opportunities and providing tailored market information services. UKTI also assists Bulgarian business to setup and maintain their presence in the UK.
