The British Council is the UK’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. We create international opportunities for the people of the UK and other countries and build trust between them worldwide. Through our global network of offices in more than 100 countries around the world, we work with thousands of professionals and policy makers and millions of young people every year by teaching English, sharing the Arts and delivering education and society programmes. A core part of the British Council’s cultural relations mission is to improve and promote standards of English for companies, governments and educational institutions. With 80 years’ experience providing English teaching and assessment, each year we administer 3 million exams and train over 300,000 people across 100 countries worldwide, including Bulgaria.
