Prof. Jacques Malherbe  (J.D. and Lic. Econ. Sc. Louvain, LL.M., Harvard) is the author or co-author of many publications including leading textbooks on Tax and Corporate Law, national and international. He lectures on these topics in Europe and Latin America. He is a professor emeritus of the University of Louvain (UCL) and a member of its research center CRIDES. He teaches at the universities of Bologna, Hamburg and Bucharest. He is a corresponding member of the Real Academia de Jurisprudencia y Legislación of Spain and a Doctor Honoris Causa of the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos of Lima, Perú. He is of counsel with Simont Braun (Brussels).  He was vice-chairman of the Permanent Scientific Committee of IFA. He speaks French, Dutch, English, German, Italian and Spanish.
