The Association “National Festival of Lavender”, in cooperation with Stara Zagora Municipality, Trakia University and Regional administration – Stara Zagora organize the first of its kind large scale international economic forum “ZAGORA EXPO – Essential oils” with the ambitious goal to gather in one place farmers, companies, producers and consumers in the sector of “Essential oil crops and essential oils”.
The exhibition is organized with the active participation and business partnership of the French – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German – Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Bulgarian Commercial Representations in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, Turkey, Romania and Georgia.
“ZAGORA EXPO” includes an international participation of different types of producers, consumers and agricultural companies from European and neighboring countries with experience in the sector of “Essential oil crops”. The ambition of the organizers is to establish the exhibition as a significant and one-of-a-kind economic Balkan forum, a business platform for trade of essential oils and a bridge between the traditional members of the industrial sector and modern agriculture.
ZAGORA EXPO is searching for its natural partners and participants in this forum, a consistent business presence of exhibitors and a successful and distinguished over the years representative of the business community.
The main exhibitors in ZAGORA EXPO will be given the opportunity to present their companies, production and achievements. Through thematic meetings, you will dispose of enough time to conduct interesting meetings for your business, negotiations and establishing useful business contacts.
In the framework of the exhibition, an expert group composed by specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Commision of Agriculture within the National Assembly and Bulgarian MEPs will start a legislative initiative for the creation of a national and European regulation for the cultivation of essential oil crops and the extraction of quality oils. The format of the International exhibition for essential oils “ZAGORA EXPO” will have its own accompanying program during which we will build a Wine Alley, an Agricultural Producers’ Alley, a Book Alley, a Children Workshops and Crafts Alley, a Health Alley – we try to include every sector in which essential oils are present as valuable raw material.
